Mr. Takahashi Fumiyoshi

Mr.Takahashi has been working as General Manager for Human Resources & Administration in TOSHIBA Industrial Product Asia Co., Ltd. (TIPA) for more than 9 years. He is a HR professional with deep insights and extensive experience, and is well-acquainted and respected by Vietnamese staff. Aimnext is receiving the enthusiastic support from TIPA and Mr. Takahashi to let our participants of “5S implementation at factory” seminar hold every year to visit TIPA as a model factory. In addition, in 2017, Mr. Takahashi was also invited to be a guest speaker of our “Guidelines for Human resource management” for Japanese managers.

This is our interview with Mr.Takahashi.

■ Why do you want to hold training courses for your company's staffs?

All employees would move toward the same direction.

First of all, I think training should be considered as one of the standards. If we don't train employees, they will follow different directions, then it is high possibility that they would carry out their work differently. The result is company won't be an unified group and it's difficult to achieve the company's goal. To avoid this, it is necessary to make a standard through training and match all the vectors (recognitions) together. Once the principle awareness and procedure are coincidently understood by all employees, the business activities can get done smoothly.  

■Can you tell us the reason you choose our service?

Understanding Japanese manufacturing company and courses are instructed by professional Vietnamese trainers.

There are 2 main reasons why we chose Aimnext's service. Firstly, we wanted the training to be conducted by a company which can understand Japanese business culture. In Japan, Aimnext is providing various consultant service and solutions to manufacturing companies, hence they can understand exactly how a Japanese manufacturing company operates.
Another reason is that trainers are Vietnamese, not Japanese. At that time, most other training companies' trainers are Japanese, except for Aimnext. If the trainer is Japanese, then the training is conducted through interpreter. Thus, obviously the training content would not be deep enough, or even conveyed in a wrong way. In the opposite, Vietnamese trainers at Aimnext can understand Vietnamese people's characteristics clearly, and with their abundant practical experience, I think participants can obtain the knowledge efficiently.

■ What aspects of Aimnext's courses do you feel satisfied?

There is follow up through Action Plan

After the training courses, I asked for opinions from some participants, and there were high evaluation and many positive feedbacks such as “I want to join other courses". Besides, as a special differentiation of Aimnext, participants have to conduct a one-month Action Plan after the training course. Skills can't be achieved after one training course but must be though practice. In that meaning, I think the follow-up through Action Plan is extremely essential, and I feel this also makes the training effect become higher.

■ What do you expect from our courses in future?

Customizing the training contents according to the actual situation.

We had Vietnamese employees take a training on production control at the "public seminar" before. However, as the content was general, it was difficult to practice at the workplace after training. So, I think it would be more useful if the content of the training can be adjusted to the circumstances of each company. However, I also understand that at a public seminar, there are various companies joining and therefore, it's very difficult to put this into practice.

Our "In-house training" is providing customized training content and process/procedure based on customer's circumstances. However, as Mr. Takahashi pointed out, with "Public seminar",  it's difficult to satisfy all the demands of each company. Even so, we will continue to make efforts to improve the quality of our training courses, in order to better satisfy clients' expectation and better support participants' development, even just for 1 company or 1 participant.
