  • Identify 5 communication barriers that trigger resistance and disrupt collaboration
  • Understand brain responses under stress to stay in control.
  • Master the 4-step framework (Observation, Emotion, Need, Request) for effective Self-Awareness, Expression, and Listening.

Part 2: Core communication mindset & skills
2.1. Self-Awareness & regulation    

  • Emotional self-regulation
  • Identifying needs

 2.2. Questioning skill  

  • Purpose of questioning.
  • Types of questions (open and close question)

 2.3. Listening skill

  • Levels of listening
  • LACE technique (Listen, Acknowledge, Check, Enquire)
  • Points of listening.

Part 3: Mindset & skills application in the workplace

  • Dance floor – 3 Communication Choices ~ Flexible interaction dynamic between Self-Awareness, Expression, and Listening
  • Apply 3 communication choices in the workplace:

o Responding thoughtfully to difficult or harsh remarks 

o Giving and receiving feedback clearly and constructively.

Nurturing relationships through intentional recognition practices.

Transforming disagreements (in negotiation, bargaining, and conflict resolution).
